This is so cute!^^ Such a heart warming picture from such a desperate scene(I think... In all trueth it's been at least two years since I saw this musical and I doubt I'll ever get a chance to see it again, but from what I remember, she was trying to free the monkeys and the Wizard was screaming at her and didn't want her to do so and it was pretty dark...)
Anyway, I love this illustration and I love the soft look on Elphaba's face! And the monkey is so adorable! I also LOVE the background. It's so cool too look out the window and it's all green, because it's the Emerald city, but it's dull green that can kind of set up for the hidden secrets that the city has. And the sky is so bright and beautiful compared to the silhouetted city. It's so cool that the sky is green too. Also, I love Elphaba's hair. It really looks so great!
Oh my gosh, I didn't even know there was a fourth one! Or a third one, for that matter! I've read the first, and seen the second one floating around book stores, but never got around to reading it. They're pretty good then?
Good for you! ^^ Did you like it at all? Ending broke my heart...but not as much as the Wicked Witch of the East number did. THAT makes me cry. (Probably just cuz' I love Boq x Nessa, but whatevs. XD) Bet I can already tell who your favorite character is...>.>
Same with my dad. XD He cried after Defying Gravity...it blew his mind, and I was glad it did. Were there any bloopers when you saw it? In the dance scene, when Boq was dancing with Nessa, he started pushing her forward and almost took out one of the girls dancing off to the side! >.> I laughed so hard, I almost cried!
